Research

We are skilled researchers who can provide individuals with advice on developing their research projects, qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods. For organizations, we provide lead services or support for research design, data collection (e.g., focus groups, interviews, surveys, and ethnographic fieldwork), analysis, and presentation of findings and results. We will work with you throughout the research process (or in part). We can serve as lead researcher on grant-funded projects and self-sponsored projects.

Evaluation

We have expertise in program evaluation and can provide direct service. We  provide support and guidance to grantors as consultants to provide feedback on grantee projects. In addition to general program evaluation, we conduct climate assessments for organizations. We will develop assessment tools, conduct focus groups and listening sessions, implement surveys, analyze data, present findings, and offer implications for policy and practice to improve organizational culture.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Auditing and Strategic Planning

We provide both general strategic planning services and also justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion strategic planning services. We work with organizations to conduct environmental scans and audits; strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) analyses; visioning and goal-setting; developing objectives, tasks, and metrics; and creating an implementation plans with budget alignment. We will continue to work with clients during and after implementation to evaluate progress.

Education and Professional Development

Based on clients’ needs, we develop and lead workshops, deliver presentations, lectures, and keynote speeches, serve on panel discussions, and facilitate conversations about justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion issues. Examples include, but are not limited to the following: Race and Racism 101, Having Difficult Conversations: Brave Spaces, Recognizing Our Own Implicit Biases in the Workplace, Building Teams: Diversity and Inclusion, Introduction to Critical Race Theory, Promoting Inclusive Teaching and Learning Environments, Recognizing and Responding to Microaggressions, and Equity-Mindedness.

Coaching

We provide personalized coaching about equity issues in the workplace for organizational leaders. This can include helping leaders to understand concepts related to justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion and developing skills to engage in equity-based practices.

Organizational Support and Project Management

We work with clients based on each organization’s specific needs for support as well as project management related to equity.
